Sweet Fun

Hello, crafty friends! I’m compressing this December set! There are so many beautiful papers in it, and a paper from American Crafts – Hustle and Heart Collection – Rise and Shine is my favorite))) He gives a feeling of comfort and warmth. I have a long time waiting for my time, one photo, On it my daughter with a jar of jam)))) I love this photo. When I saw this patterned paper, I immediately realized which photo I want to take for the layout with it.

The December Scrapbook Subscription Kit “42nd St. Soda Shoppe” brought me a great set of puffy stickers with different headers, I chose for my layout “Sweet Fun” This bright white headline focuses on the place with the photo. This is very important, because the patterned paper is very bright and mottled. For each layout I use clippings on the Cameo plotter. I cut out these lovely cottages of lsite paper from American  Crafts – Hustle and Heart Collection – The Bright Side. And I must admit that it’s better not to do so))))) It’s very long, cut every little detail of a certain color. But the result I’m happy! It looks very nice))) I posted a photo on a white background in a Polaroid frame from a red cardstock. Below the white part, I made a border of a strip of yellow paper from the sheet – The Bright Side. Sprigs are cut from a sheet of paper from the American craft – Floral Sensations. I drew a bit of gold acrylic paint from the Kit of November)) I needed a few white accents to refresh the layout, I added white snowflakes and a sprig of white paper.

Thank you for visiting me today))) I think the layout was very emotional! I hope he inspires you and we will see in the Gallery your layout! With impatience we will wait in the Gallery for your models! Inspiration friends!

Black and White With a Punch of Color!

I never grow tired of a black and white photo paired with lots of bright color. And, that’s exactly what I did on this layout! Ashli here with you today to share a fun layout using an old, cherished photo of my mother and I.

I knew I wanted to pair this photo with lots of color, and the December kit was just the thing for this. I grabbed some of the boldest papers and patters and set about layering them up, under my photo…

I cut some edges, and tore some others to create nice layers of texture. Once that was all set, I used the Prima triangle stencil to create some graphic elements and to help bring all that color together through the use of white paint…

When that was dry, I went back in with some watercolors to really create a fun and colorful, yet painterly feel. And, I have to mention how much I love that sweet patterned paper with the children playing. Perfect for this layout, I’d say!

For an embellishment, I cut the heart out of the Amy Tangerine patterned paper, stitched around it, and added some white paint. Set up on pop dots, this is the perfect hand made touch!

I cut the orange flower from my kit in half and tucked it around too, followed by some sequins and dots from my stash. And finally, a title from the gorgeous set of Thickers included in the kit…

Ta da! Doesn’t all that color set off the black and white picture perfectly? I think so!

And, now it’s your turn. Go make something colorful!

Life is beautiful

Hello, crafty friends! Happy new year! I am glad to meet you in the New Year! I love this photo, it conveys the mood!It was a wonderful day and I wanted to keep it in my memory. I wanted to create a light and airy page, such as my mood on this day!

I did not use many colors, it’s only white, black and gold! On the page are different golden accents and they play with each other! These gorgeous gold glitter stickers! Oh! I can not take my eyes off this flicker)))I love the gold accents of foil. I used Reactive mist from Heidi Swapp. Just spray with Heidi’s spray, put a sheet of foil over it and rub it with your finger. These golden splashes look great! I like that when you hold a spray you do not know what the result will be))) You get what you get!I did not think at all what composition this layout would be))) I just created! First, spray sprays and foil, then I cut off put the photo on the sheet, it became clear that it should be highlighted. A piece of black and white sheet in stripes was what you need!

I printed out a photo from instagrams in a special machine – the device that stands in the mall. I like that the photo goes to press together with the comment. It acts as a journalist))) I do not like my handwriting, it is always difficult for me to make a juranling handwritten text. I love Nicole’s handwriting on her pages!

The title ideally fits the meaning and mood of the layout. I made this layout very quickly and easy, try how to just create with these awesome sets!

Enjoy your time and creative inspiration! Thank you for visiting me today! Have great days!

Christmas Baubles

Good morning girlies! There’s nothing sexy about this post. SORRY! LOL… I haven’t been out in awhile so I don’t really have any sexy photos to scrap unless you’re OK with me sharing a picture of me in my jammies… 🙂 Instead, I’ve been making paper ornaments using scraps from the December 42nd St. Soda Shoppe Kit! This kit is so bright and cheery, I can’t get enough of it.

While looking through Pinterest, I came across this link on how to create Christmas Baubles so I thought I’d give it a try! It’s something different… so I thought, why not!

To create these two ornaments, all I needed was two sheets of patterned paper,  a 2″ circle punch, pink string and LOTS of glue dots! Don’t look too closely… somehow, some of my images ended up up-side down. Maybe, the next time I create these, they will be better. 🙂

This is my favorite ornament. I just love the colors! Don’t mind the upside down hearts!

Thanks for stopping by today! Are you all ready for Santa? I am all ready to see a BIG smile on Edward’s face tomorrow morning.

Archie Comics Mini Album

Hi everyone, Melissa here with a mini album for Bad Girls Couture!

This adorable mini album is part of the December kit,it is filled with lots of bright cheery colors and patterns! What better fit for a comic book theme. To decorate the front I sponged on a little gesso, then glued on some cheesecloth. I added the glittery Thickers, and drew around them with a watercolor pencil. I softened the pencil lines with water on a paintbrush. I wanted the gold glitter and bold colors to really pop.

I made some flowers with plain cardstock and a flower die,the glitter on them is in the kit.The grey pearls are from last month’s collection.

I fussy cut pieces from the kit’s Prima paper, and also used the clips included.  I’m going to use this in my kitchen to keep notes and receipts in, so the clips will be useful.

I added embossing powder by glueing it on, I heat set it a little. The Bohemian Crystal green bling is from last month’s kit. You can also see micro beads, and sequins.

Thank you so much for looking, and have a great week! I hope you enjoy having your own Archie Comic theme mini around if you get this month’s collection!
