Lovely- A Repurposed Box
Hello, friends!
I’m sharing a box that I repurposed today! I love to alter boxes. I save all kinds of boxes- this is one from a Google wi-fi router. It’s a nice sturdy box, perfect for putting a gift in.
I started by covering the box with the Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams Delicate paper. The box was the perfect size for one 12×12 piece of paper.
I added some Prima Marketing Metallique Wax that was in the November scrapbooking kit. I love the look it gives- distressed and metallic!
I cut out a circle die and used some green chalk ink. I used the last of the Prima Marketing flowers from the package from the kit. (I wish I had more!) I added some small purple roses to show off that lovely muslin flower. The “lovely” sentiment is from the chipboard set from the kit.
The door pull is something I had in my stash. I added some more of the Prima Marketing Metallique wax as well.
Here’s a closeup that shows how the wax looks on the edges of the box.
I added some heart die cuts to each of the sides of the box. I used the Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams Royale paper.
I completed the box by adding lace trim which is from a past kit- Parisienne Paradise vintage kit.
