Hello and welcome to the Bad Girls Couture blog.

DT Elena here today sharing art-journal spread I’ve created using the incredible products by Bad Girls.

First of all, I created a textured background with Molding Paste.

I used for background paints Bad & Tatted and Distortion

You can always use the most ordinary things in your projects. For example, I took some dried leaves and stuck them with Matte Gel.

I wanted to make the leaves more textured, so I put Glass Bead Gel on them.

With the help of my favorite colors of paints, I painted the cutting and chipboard: Torrid, Guild Trip, C-Note

At the end I always add a splash of paint Fallen Angel

.

ALTERED BOTTLE by Elena

Hello dear friends!

Today i’m with a new Mixed Media project.

I was inspired by the sophistication of ancient statues.

And I wanted to make an object reminiscent of that era.

Confess I never liked decorating bottles, and this time I was pretty skeptical.

However, the result that came out thanks to the chipboard exceeded all my expectations!

I got great satisfaction from both the process and the result!

Now I urgently need bottles of all sizes and shapes because I just fell in love with this format!

First, I primed the bottle with Premium White Gesso and stuck the chip:Checkerboard Panel

I wet the chipboard with water so it wouldn’t break and stuck it to the bottle.

Then I painted it with Bad Girls Couture paints. I used these shades: Make it rain и Last Sin

If you look closely you will notice a lot of gears of different sizes under the main composition.

Since they are painted to match the bottle, they are difficult to immediately notice.

However, they add volume and layering to my composition.

I used three sets of gears.:

Steampunk Gears Small
Steampunk Gears Medium
Giant Gears

One of the main decorations – chip Crown.

I painted it with paints:

Caution Tape и Dive Bar

In the same colors I painted the Clock Face Frame and covered it with Glossy Accents by Ranger.

And additionally a little tinted alcohol ink

I took this lovely little key off one of the paint cans.

To add flicker to my work I tinted with wax

None of my work is complete without toppings.

I glued beads and glitter with Clear Gesso

Hello!

Autumn is my favorite time of the year, magical .. Fresh cool air, warm light of windows, nature incredible colors and sun rays illuminating this splendor.

And all of this inspired me. I created a page in my “COBBLESTONE LANE” Art Journal.

To make the background I used Haute Mess Paints.

I chose both bright and delicate shades. I wanted to combine them together for the best result.

To make a dark background, I painted Natural Cotton Canvas Page with Bad & Tatted and then Make it rain

I added paper cutting, hand-made flowers, metal key and photo of girls-caterpillars. Finally I added paint splashes. The last one was the inscription.

Hello everybody! I have a school art journal page I created using the black cardstock page.

I like working with a black background. All colors look brighter and more contrast on it!

My children continue to study, my son is at University and my daughter is at school.

So I chose this school theme for my page.

In the video you can see the whole process of creating this page:

I used different scraps of paper, frames, flower and butterfly, which remained after the creation of other projects! I do not throw anything away and love to use such sets for new works!

Photophone Shutters by Elena

Hi friends! Hope you are having a great day :)

For today’s post, I’ve created a altered-art project “Shutters”.

I’ve used newest papers from LemonCraft – ‘House of Roses Extra’ collection, HDF products by Agateria aand lovely amazing Bad Girls products!

For starters, I covered the blank with paint Grunge

Then I glued the paper and with a palette knife applied paint strokes Naked

To complicate the background and add color, added strokes of paints C-Note and Plastic Angel

Molding Paste added texture to the background.

Additionally decorated the background with stamps

Added Art-stones with Matte Gel

Hello dear friends!
Today I’m with a new Mixed Media project – and it’s again Art-journal page.

I came up with a little story that this page illustrates.

“The courtyard was a garden of Eden Paradise. They were like Adam and eve, and gave the names of flowers, herbs, and stray cats.

Youth kicked out of Paradise and scattered across the universe, leaving vague memories of happy childhood games.

Year and miles separated them, then to bring together and never separate.”

It seems to me – it is a great happiness – to find “your” person and live a long and happy life with him!

Canvas So sweet by Elena Martynova

Hello everyone! Today I have prepared little canvas for you inspiration.

I love to decorate canvases, and this time I decided to decorate it from the wrong side.

Thanks to the wooden frame there is an additional volume that can be interesting to use.

To begin with, I painted the frame on all sides with two colors:Mannequin & Plastic Angel

I painted twigs of chipboard by 2Crafty with two shades of green:C-Note & Million Dollar Baby

When the frame was dry, I applied a texture paste and sprinkled with white glitter.

I painted the background chip with hearts with paint Naked and painted hearts with Couture Pink. After drying, apply the Glass Bead Gel on the hearts.

I added a little stamping and began to collect the composition of flowers, chipboard and cut pictures.

Added title and some different toppings, which are glued to the Gel Medium.

That’s what I got as a result:

Hello!

Do you like to use chipboard in your works? I just love it!

I don’t even throw out chipboard negatives. For my next project I used the negative and some chipboards by 2Crafty Chipboard.

I decided to decorate it with a funny picture of the girl-ballerina.
For a start, I painted the tag with Grunge paint, and then made the background brighter with Molding Paste and colors Oops! My Bad and Plastic Angel

I painted the chipboard circles with C-Note paint to contrast with the background.
