Want versus Have Art Journal Page

Hello, loves! It’s Donna here with another project for the Bad Girls Couture Design Team. For this project, I used the Vintage Music Page in my Paper Doll Palace Haute Mess Art Journal and Haute Mess Acrylic Paints and Mediums. I prepped the surface with Clear Gesso first before dry brushing a thin coat of Couture Pink acrylic paint.

Then, I mixed a bit of Gesso and Sweet Candy Kisses then used a cut file by Paige Evans as a stencil.

I also used the same mixture of Gesso and Sweet Candy Kisses to lightly brush the edges for a unified overall look.

I cut a 6 ½ x 6 ½ pattern paper into two and adhered in the middle of the page then splattered diluted Kiss & Don’t Tell and Bad & Tatted Acrylic Paints. Once the paints and mediums dried, I used some doily, messy thread, rhinestones and mounted fussy cut flowers and word arts using foam tape.
