Weekend

Happy Friday bad girls! Are you ready for the weekend? I have am sharing a vintage layout today using one of my favorite photos from my birthday celebration in September. My husband surprised me with a party with all of our neighborhood friends! It was a lot of fun… he even bought me a tag, hat and some other fun birthday goodies that said 21. Haha, it was a joke… I just turned 39. He did good… He even got me a Chocolate Truffle Bomb cake and it was da bomb! Seriously… so good.

Enough about my birthday party… Here’s a layout I created of my friend Angel and I at the party. I altered the photo using PicMonkey to make the photo look more vintage looking so it would blend nicely with the papers.

I used a stamp to stamp my title at the top of the photo. Also, I cut a piece of the Tin Foil stickers in half to use as photo corners for the photo. Oh, and what did you think of the Hambly screen print? OMG, I was so excited… yet, sad that they are no longer in business. I hope Wendy has some more of their screen prints somewhere… maybe she’s hoarding them, I don’t know, but I am not greedy and I will gladly take a few more sheets. LOL In the mean time, I think I’ll hold on to my scraps. :)

I cut the frame from the 7gypsies paper to use as a frame for the photo.

I cut the spades and date strip from the Prima Paper to use as embellishments for this layout. Since none of dates on the date print had September, I used my stamp to add September at the bottom. It was bothering me… teehee
Thanks so much for visiting today!
